We ended up with the room next to the elevator. The room was noisy and smaller than the other rooms.
I found the location to be excellent for the purpose of our stay. The room wasn't the greatest that I have stayed at in New Orleans.

Walls were too thin, so it was noisy.
The Sheraton New Orleans is located in the perfect location. The staff was amazing and customer service was fantastic. My only concern is that the walls were thin so I could easily hear people outside my room and in the rooms next to us. When my neighbors slammed their door, the vibration sent through the whole wall and I could feel it when resting on the bed. That the fitness center was only available for a fee. That proved to be inconvenient.
It was clean attractive, a real value for the Priceline discount. The lobby was beautiful, the atmosphere was great. The room was immaculate.
